In 1989, a young man following his passion for food, gave up a career in the printing industry and picked up a ladle to carve a niche for himself in the catering business. The first steps were small baby steps in fact. His wife cooked the meals and he would deliver them on his bike to the handful of people who were willing to give him a try. The prospects didn't look very promising but they had an unshakeable faith in God and an unswerving belief in the fruits of hard work. They sourced the best available ingredients for the food they cooked, refused to compromise on quality and made sure the quantity of the food they provided was never a point of contention. The clientele began to grow and K.Paul Raj realized his dream of running a successful catering company.
Today Home Caterers is in its third decade of quality food service, with over 60 permanent staff on its payroll, enough and more vehicles for speedy transport of food, steady suppliers who provide fresh quality ingredients and many hundreds of loyal customers. We have three well equipped kitchens one for vegetarian food, one for non-vegetarian food and a steam kitchen where huge quantities of rice is cooked in boilers.
We pride ourselves on the fact that our Biriyani's colour comes from the highest quality Saffron and not from any food colouring, our flavour is the result of rich Indian Spices such as Cloves, Cardamom and Cinnamon and not Ajinomoto.
